Check of a corner of an advancing of ignition

The corner of an advancing of ignition is defined ECU and is not subject to manual adjustment.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove a decorative cover of the engine, having turned out 3 nuts of its fastening and having removed its clamps.
  1. Warm up the engine to normal working temperature.
  1. Connect scanner OBD-II to socket DLC №3, being guided by the instruction of the manufacturer of the scanner.
  1. Connect a stroboscope clip to a wire conclusion.
  1. Increase turns of the engine to 2500 rpm approximately for 90 seconds and check up idling turns – they should make 700 ± 50 rpm. Leave the engine to work on single turns.

At check of turns of idling following conditions should be satisfied:

  • The engine should be heated-up;
  • The air cleaner should be established, and air hoses and tubes should be reliably and are correctly connected;
  • All additional equipment should be switched off;
  • All vacuum lines should be reliably and are correctly connected;
  • Sockets of electroconducting of system of injection should be reliably connected;
  • Check of a corner of an advancing of ignition the Engine should meet the requirements of Specifications of the Head;
  • АТ should be established in neutral position.
  1. If idling turns do not correspond to requirements of Specifications of the Head the Engine, check up valve IAC and воздухозаборный a path.
  1. Перемкните contacts TE1 and E1 socket DLC №1 also establish АТ in neutral position.
  1. Having shined with a stroboscope a scale on a cover of a belt of drive ГРМ, consider a corner of an advancing of ignition.
  1. Remove a crosspiece from socket DLC №1 and once again check up a corner of an advancing of ignition.
  2. Compare the received values to requirements of Specifications of the Head the Engine.
  3. Disconnect a stroboscope and scanner OBD-II.
  4. Establish a decorative cover of the engine.
