Management of automatic transmission (AT) On considered cars it is established 4-step АТ, supervised by the electronic block of management. The lever of the selector of modes АТ is located in the bottom part of the central console. The lever of the selector of modes АТ and the description of modes All transfers of advance it is switched automatically if the lever of the selector of modes АТ is in position «D». For moving of the lever of the selector from position «P» ignition should be included, the brake pedal is squeezed out, and also the button of removal of fixing is pressed. For smooth movement squeeze out a brake pedal at moving of the lever of the selector of position «N» in positions of advance or back. The description of the switch of modes AT («POWER» / »SNOW) is resulted in Section Controls and the salon equipment.
Operating modes АТ «P» (Parking) — In given position АТ is blocked, and forward wheels cannot rotate. Before to translate the selector lever in this position, completely stop the car.
«R» (Movement by a backing) — the Given position of the lever of selector AT is used for movement back.
«N» (Neutral position) — Wheels and transmission are not blocked, the car can be moved freely even if the distributing box is established on transfer. «D» (Movement) — Normal position of the lever of the selector at car movement. АТ it is switched between all four transfers of advance, proceeding from an optimum parity of capacity and economy of fuel.
«2» (the Second transfer) — АТ is switched only between 1st and 2nd transfers of advance. It is used for reception большей capacities at movement on lifting, and also for braking by the engine at movement on descent. The choice of this position also helps to reduce проскальзывание wheels on slippery road. The top limit of speed of movement at the chosen mode «2» makes 117 km/h.
«L» (Lowering transfer) — Establish the selector lever in this position at the big loading, and also at movement on a steep slope. The top limit of speed of movement at the chosen mode «L» makes 65 km/h.
Movement on a steep slope from a place To start movement on a steep slope squeeze out a brake pedal, move selector AT lever to position «D», «2» or «L» (depending on loading of the car and a lifting steepness) and release a lay brake. Smoothly press a gas pedal, releasing a brake pedal. Mode O/D
Use mode O/D to start movement on slippery roads, at movement on lifting, and also for braking by the engine at movement on descent. At use of mode O/D the algorithm of a gear change varies at advance in the chosen mode «D». For inclusion of mode O/D press the switch located on the handle of the lever of selector AT, - should light up corresponding К/Л in a combination of devices. For deenergizing of mode O/D press the switch once again, - К/Л should go out.
At switched off mode O/D in a mode «D» АТ will keep 3rd transfer and it will never be switched to 1st and 4th transfers. At braking 2nd transfer then АТ comes back to 3rd transfer for smooth acceleration joins. Accordingly, at a start of motion (from a place) it is used 2nd transfer, and then АТ is switched to 3rd transfer. Blocking of switching and emergency moving of the lever of the selector from position «P» For safety of the driver and passengers АТ it is equipped by system of the blocking preventing moving of the lever of the selector from position «P» if the brake pedal is not squeezed out. For moving of the lever of the selector of position «P» squeeze out and keep a brake pedal. Then start the engine or turn the ignition key in position «ON», press a clamp of the lever of the selector, located on its handle, and move the lever to demanded position. As well for extraction of a key from the lock of ignition the selector lever should be in position «P».
If at performance described above actions to move the lever of the selector from position «P» it was not possible, without releasing a brake pedal, remove заглушку from the button of emergency removal of blocking, press this button and move the lever from position «P».
